Switzerland has lost its neutrality!
The CX-52 encryption machine (modelled on enigma of German Second World War manufacturing) which the Swiss sold as “totally neutral - No one has the code for our product” has been proved to have a clever hack in it which allowed the CIA and the German secret service to see what was being written.
A number of countries bought the device thinking it was secure...
Reminds me of a number of email providers who claim they are - Unseen & secure.
Nothing is exempt from the NSA and it’s political arm the CIA.
In fact Iran has one so it was very helpful in knowing what they were about - After the execution of two of its leaders by the US suspicion fell on the CX-52 and so it’s useful life is over!
